Stress shows up differently among all individuals. Some may experience physical symptoms like aches and pains, chest pain, trouble sleeping, headaches, stomach issues and/or jaw clenching. Others may experience emotional and mental responses like panic attacks, irritability and/or depression. Here I share some ways to manage stress and how it shows up in your life.

5 Ways to Play with Your Child
The true potential of play materializes when parents actively participate in these activities with their children. Parental engagement in play not only fortifies the parent-child connection but also equips parents with a deeper understanding of their child's unique needs and interests. It enables parents to serve as role models for fundamental values and behaviours, including cooperation and effective communication, laying the foundation for a child's future relationships and overall well-being.
Connect with your spouse in the busyness of Fall
One suggestion is to be intentional in planning time together with your partner. This doesn’t have to be daily, and it doesn’t mean taking hours out of your weekly schedule. Planning small pockets of time to sit together, talk (not about work, kids, pets, or schedules) is deeply important. Spending even ten minutes daily sitting quietly together, can be significant. You might want to create a boundary that you only want to know about your partner. Sitting with, listening, touching, and empathizing with your partner (and them with you)…these are almost like micro-moments. Their effect is powerful, however.
How can I help my child with their aggressive behaviours?
Aggression in children can be produced by a range of factors, and understanding these causes can help caregivers and educators manage and prevent violent behaviour.
