Clara Park, RAcu
REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST
I am a Registered Acupuncturist and a registered member in good standing with College of Complementary Health Professionals in BC.
Personal healing journey led me to a dramatic career change from accounting to acupuncture in my mid-forties, and I fell in love with the acupuncture. In my humble opinion, acupuncture is mysterious and obvious, rational and irrational, playful and wise, tailored to individual yet so universal all at the same time. Above all, it is a beautiful modality that integrates all aspects of being human - physical, mental and spirits.
Acupuncture can be a great complementary modality to psychotherapies as the effectiveness becomes much more powerful when the relationship between mind and body is explored together. My practice approach focuses on exploring the root of physical manifestation within the client's body by tapping into the connection between mind and body. I believe that a gentle and supportive treatment is more effective and respectful to the client's needs and comfort than forceful manipulation techniques. My job is being present with the clients so that I can present an appropriate nudge and info to client’s body as the body instinctively knows how to interpret them, set out the healing plan and execute them accordingly.
My main interest of supporting clients with acupuncture is in the area of trauma, anxiety, mental and emotional difficulties, women’s health, and any physical symptoms and conditions manifested during a personal alchemy process. I look forward to keep on learning, practicing and supporting the community as long as I can.

My husband and I lived in San Francisco, Edmonton and Toronto in a span of five years.
My teenage kid and I love breaking into random dance moves whenever there’s a groovy music playing.
Our family includes a dog named Yoda Optimus Prime. He is strong with the force and can make humans take him out for walks, give him food/treats and massage him with his stare.
