Community Connections - Cake by Nicole Mceachnie
When I started Panorama Wellness Group in Langley, BC one of the things that were important to me was to get connected with other businesses in the area. As we were drawing close to Christmas, I saw a post by Nicole Mceachnie in a Facebook group that she was looking for local businesses to participate in a Christmas giveaway. I was quick to connect with her and join her in reaching out to the women in our area.
When you reach out to new connections, you never really know if it’s going to be a “click” or not, but I was pleasantly surprised that this felt like a good fit.
Nicole works hard to build a sense of community in her social media, and to support local women business owners, which is a great partnership for us at Panorama Wellness Group. When I met up with Nicole to give her the gift for her giveaway, she had a very warm demeanour, and I felt welcomed by her immediately.
Nicole has an adorable little girl who she calls her sous chef and is the cutest little partner for her. She has had experience working in an artisan bakery in Vancouver specializing in cakes and pastries and reached her goal of becoming a Red Seal qualified Pastry Chef at a young age. From there she worked in France and felt that she became a more well-rounded chef, having been exposed to new concepts, flavours and ways of creating masterpieces. She is now passionately creating cakes for Vancouver brides as well as fun cookies and baking for our everyday selves too.
