This is an independent contractor opportunity for clinicians interested in growing their private practice within a supportive group practice environment.
We’re looking for a passionate, personable therapist who is committed to supporting women and couples and who values collaboration, professional excellence, and building a thriving practice within a group practice structure and support.
Building a private practice can feel overwhelming. Marketing, scheduling, paperwork, and office management can take valuable time away from client care.
Panorama Wellness provides the infrastructure, systems, and support that help independent contractors deliver exceptional client care while building a sustainable and successful private practice.
I am looking for people who value this type of support while working dependently and in alignment with the mission to provide a holistic approach to clients through a collaborative and supportive environment so that each person who walks through our doors will feel seen.

The Role
Associate Therapist, Independent Contractor Location: Surrey, BC (primarily in person with virtual appointment available)
Focus: Trauma-Informed therapy with women and couples
What You’ll Do
Provide couples counselling to partners working through conflict, disconnection, betrayal, or wanting to build a stronger relationship
Provide individual trauma-informed therapy to women who have survived difficult or traumatic experiences
Hold a caseload of a minimum of 10 clients per week,
Maintain Client Records Document clinical notes in Jane and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards.
Collaborate with the Team Participate in peer consultation, regular meetings, and networking efforts to reach your ideal client.
Engage in Continued Learning Through professional development, trainings, reading and exploring ways to stay current with industry best practices, evolving treatment modalities, and emerging research.
What You Bring
Registration in good standing in BC - Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Registered Social Worker (RSW)
Specific training in couples work, not just experience picked up along the way. I'm looking for:
Relational Life Therapy (RLT) training with Terry Real's method, preferred
Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Level 2, at minimum
A trauma-informed approach and genuine comfort working with women who have survived trauma
Current professional liability insurance
Availability for a minimum of one evening a week, ideally two
Ability to work independently while still wanting to be part of something bigger than a solo practice
Nice to Have
Additional trauma training (somatic approaches, EMDR, polyvagal-informed work)
Experience building a caseload in private practice
An interest in helping shape this practice as it grows, not just filling a room

Our Surrey office is situated in the Panorama business district, enabling us to serve those in Surrey, Cloverdale, South Surrey and White Rock, both in person and online.
