Grace Nobleza Chua

MA, RCC

There are times in life where things feel…meh…and not quite what you had hoped it would be.  You know that you want life to have more meaning and fulfilment, but you’re not quite sure where to start.

I will work with you to help you find an alternative perspective and to equip you with tools to live with awareness, intention, and purpose. Together, we will find ways to help you step more fully into your potential and to show up authentically in your work, home and family relationships.

I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental setting for you to find direction and hope for yourself or your relationship. As we work together, you will feel heard, understood, and empowered to find healing and balance in your life.

Our time together will provide you with a space to relax your “busy mind” without feeling guilty. I work with adults, working professionals, couples and seniors who are dealing with various mental health or relational issues and it is my goal to create connections with people that allow for openness and vulnerability.

My lived experience – transitioning from the financial services industry to my current role as a Psychotherapist – sparked my interest in career counselling as well.   I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life and am passionate about supporting clients to make meaningful career and life transitions and to feel empowered and balanced at work and life in general.

Support and tools through personal counselling can help you become effective in managing stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions. I customize my approach to your needs and use a variety of research-proven ways of doing therapy that primarily involve CBT (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy).

  • I have transitioned from being a Financial Adviser to becoming a Counsellor. I have an MBA and was working for the Financial Sector when I realized that the corporate ladder that I was climbing was leaning against the wrong wall. I realized that I like hearing the stories that people share on how they got to be where they are and the realizations they learned throughout.

One of the most interesting things that I have done is to be a Certified Scuba Diver. So, don’t be surprised if some of my metaphors will be about scuba diving. One of the important things when going diving is to make sure that you have a buddy that will always know where you are and ideally they are within a certain distance from you. I found that this applies as we go through life. We must always have someone that can journey with us as we go through different transitions. I consider it a privilege to be part of your journey and to listen to where you are.

Curiosity is one of my biggest takeaways in this profession. I invite you to be curious about why we react, think, feel the way that we do and wonder who taught us to be a certain way.
