My name is Braeden, and I am a soon-to-be Registered Clinical Counsellor with Asher Wellness Group, offering both in-person and virtual support in Surrey, BC. Having recently completed my Master's in Counselling Psychology, I am deeply committed to helping you find your footing through life's unexpected twists and turns. If you have been feeling a little lost or disconnected from yourself, I believe that together we can start building that path back.

My areas of focus include anxiety, trauma, self-confidence, relationships, and life transitions — and more specifically, I often work with people who struggle with people-pleasing, setting boundaries, and learning to be kinder to themselves. I warmly welcome clients of all ages and backgrounds, and I have a particular heart for working with young women and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

My time working within the provincial health authority, in employee experience and retention, has shaped a lot of who I am as a therapist. Being alongside mental health leaders gave me a real window into how demanding and relentless the healthcare system can be, and the quiet weight that comes with showing up in that space every day. That experience lives with me and drives my genuine desire to offer a space where clients feel truly seen and supported.

In our work together, your needs and your story will always come first. My approach is humanistic and holistic — I care about you as a whole person, not just the presenting concern. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural, Person-Centred, Emotion-Focused, and Solution-Based therapy, weaving them together in a way that fits you specifically. Life has a way of surprising us, and my hope is that every session feels like a steady, safe place to face those surprises.
